1998

Selected to present a lecture demonstration of South African music at the conference of the International Society for Music Education in Pretoria

2000

Only performing group from Africa to perform at the conference of the International Society for Music Education held in Edmonton, Canada; additional concerts in Vancouver, Banff, Calgary.

2002 

Only representative from Africa selected to perform at the conference of the International Society for Music Education in Bergen, Norway 
Performance at the South African Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark
Performance in Dordrecht, The Netherlands
Performance in Oslo, Norway

2003

Resident choir at the conference of the Pan African Society for Musical Arts Education in Kisumu, Kenya

2004 and 2006

Only choir from Africa selected to participate in the Ninth International Choral Festival of Sainte Baume in Italy and France (2004)
Invited back by the Polyphonic Society of Provence as the only choir from Africa to participate in their Eleventh International Choir Festival in Italy and France (2006)

2008

Invited back by the Polyphonic Society of Provence as the only choir from Africa to take part in their Thirteenth International Choir Festival
One of only 12 choirs world-wide selected to take part in the International Choir Festival of Sacred Music in Rottenburg, Germany. During the festival Palissander was one of only three of the international choirs present to be invited to take part in a recording of a BBC Evensong

2011

Direct entry as the only choir from Africa to take part in the International Choir Festival in Aveyron, France 
Two additional concerts in the vicinity of Barcelona, Spain

2013

Direct entry as the only choir from Africa to take part in the Fifth International Choir Festival in Aveyron, France and the Eighteenth International Choir Festival in Provence

Concert in the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris to celebrate the 95th birthday of former South African President Nelson Mandela

2015

Concert tour to Italy, with concerts in Milan, Cossato, Susa, Genoa and Albenga

Direct entry as the only choir from Africa to take part in the Twentieth International Choir Festival in Provence
