Life - a shadow and a dream | 2011

Hymn to life The music on this CD is reflective in nature. The programme deals with the fact that, in the midst of life and abundance, we are in death. We look for comfort in various ways, for example by trying to escape into dreams. We seek Christ as our helper, as He has already conquered death. We find solace in the knowledge that we, like our loved ones, will continue to live on in lovely things.

Hymn to Life | 2008

Hymn to life South Africa is currently experiencing one of the worst AIDS epidemics in the world. Palissander decided to make a contribution in raising awareness on the issue. Each of us is like a music box with a unique song that is reflected in our choices. May people hear, when they listen closely, a hymn to life, rather than a song of dispair. Such a hymn to life is portrayed in the statues from the Vigeland Park, Norway, which inspired this programme and CD

Palissander 15 | 2007

Palissander 15 We formed Palissander 15 years ago with the belief and dream of making soul music. This CD portrays our gratitude for all the blessings we have received through the years. This CD celebrates the message of hope, faith, love, life, joy .. and soul. Over the past 15 years there have been a numer of songs which have been pinacle pieces in the choir's repertoire. These songs have been included in the 2007 repertoire (including a number brand new songs) . And for the first time the choir is able to release a CD with songs from the current year's repertoire on CD.

Siyahamba | 2005

Siyahamba Siyahamba features South African works from Palissander's 2004 programme that was constructed to commemmorate 10 years of democracy in South Africa. The tracks depict South Africa's journey from darkness in which we focused on killing one another to a home in which there will be no colour nor race and in which we will be a great happy family of God. The title track refers to the fact that this journey was made possible by the light of God. The CD was recorded in the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria with members of The Soccajasco Kids, with whom Palissander has been co-operating since 2002.

Silent Night / Stille Nag | 2005

Silent Night This single was released in 2005 for the Christmas season. We performed the traditional version of Silent Night during the 2004 tour to France and received many requests to record it.It features Silent Night with Sara Mmaledi and Classina Cornelius as soloists. The CD also contains 1998 recordings of Heilig, heilig, heilig from the German Mass by Franz Schubert and WA Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus. This is Palissander's first Christmas recording

Moment | 2003

Moment We have chosen the idea of harmony, from the title track, as the theme for the CD. A portion of the CD is devoted to the peace programme that we performed in Norway in 2002 and in Kenya in 2003. The rest of the CD contains works from our 2000- 2003 programmes. In the peace programme we are joined by members of The Soccajasco Kids. We hope to use Moment to bring a little bit of peace to our common everyday existence as well as to that of anyone who listens.
